Density Bonus May Be Postponed
City officials are requesting that the vote is rescheduled.
The City Council will likely postpone their vote on the program that allows developers to construct taller denser buildings if they include affordable housing on their residential project, Council President Scott Peters said. The vote is currently slated for Tuesday’s council meeting.
Peters said at his weekly press briefing today the City Attorney’s Office and the Development Services Department both wanted to delay the issue until a council meeting where several housing issues will be discussed.
